Rhett Crites, CMEA, CAGA, founded HeavyEquipmentAppraisal.com in 2009. The firm provides machinery and equipment valuations for lenders, SBA files, attorneys, CPAs, insurers, and business owners.

Before appraisal work, Rhett earned a computer science degree and spent more than a decade as a software engineer. He grew up in Montana around trucks, tractors, and combines. The appraisal practice grew out of that overlap between data work and heavy equipment.

The firm focuses exclusively on heavy equipment, with reports built to hold up under review by parties beyond the original client. Based in Colorado, but performing nationwide equipment appraisals since 2009.
