Ihab Ayoubi, CMEA, is the Founder of Asset Valuation Consultants, a Houston-based valuation and advisory firm specializing in machinery and equipment appraisal across the medical, biotech, construction, transportation, and oil & gas industries. With over 12 years of combined experience in biomedical engineering, asset lifecycle management, and systems integration, Ihab provides USPAP-compliant valuations for financing, insurance, acquisitions, and legal support.

 

Ihab is a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser through the NEBB Institute and has worked with clients across the U.S. and Middle East, including private healthcare providers, financial institutions, and international asset managers. His valuation work includes in-depth inspections, condition-based assessments, and capital equipment planning, often involving complex medical systems, industrial controls, and diagnostic technologies.

 

Currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston, Ihab’s research focuses on healthcare systems optimization, diagnostic infrastructure, and AI-assisted modeling in clinical environments. He previously led technical and research projects through NASA and the Texas A&M University Systems, contributing to federally supported aerospace systems validation and automation development.

 

In addition to his technical background, Ihab brings a strategic consulting lens shaped by years of experience in automation and control within high-compliance industries such as oil & gas and advanced manufacturing. He also holds an MBA with a concentration in Strategy and Financial Systems, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
