Alan DeMarchi, CMEA
Alan has been involved in Small Business Lending and Risk Management for close to 30 years for both large banks and smaller community banks. Alan started his lending career at Mellon Bank and migrated to Citizens Bank after Citizens purchased the retail part of Mellon, lasting nearly 20 years. It was here where risk management and collateral analysis became part of everyday life.
After Citizens reorganized the Pittsburgh operations, Alan moved on to Irwin Bank, PNC, First Commonwealth Bank, and Huntington Bank doing small business and commercial lending, risk management, portfolio analysis, and collateral analysis.
Alan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and Statistics and earned a Masters Degree from Duquesne University in 1991. He also completed Mellon Bank's Commercial Lending Program in 1999.
