John Vervaeke is a Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) and Owner / Operator of Asset Management Associates -- an equipment inspection, appraisal, recovery, and re-marketing company that has been in business for almost 30 years.  John has over 17 years of experience in the equipment and banking industries.  He and his wife, Michelle, purchased Asset Management Associates, LLC in 2008 and still work with the previous owner and ‘guru’ Mark Schikendantz on appraisal and remarketing assignments. 

 John is a highly-experienced equipment inspector and can service most of Washington and Oregon based on availability.  John provides Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraisals that are completed in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Practice (USPAP).  These Certified reports withstand scrutiny and provide substantiated, objective, and defensible USPAP compliance to Lenders, Business owners, CPAs, Attorneys, and other clients in need of independent appraised values on a wide variety of equipment.  John’s CMEA certification from the National Equipment and Business Builders (NEBB) institute provides him with an expert network of over 450 appraisers across the US and around the world.  John’s wife and fellow co-owner, Michelle is a candidate member of the ASA and has over 25 years of heavy equipment experience in a variety of roles.
