WORK EXPERIENCE
Doug Scheiding, CMEA, earned the CMEA designation (Certified Machinery/ Equipment Appraiser) as certified by the NEBB Institute in 2009. Doug is the owner, along with Bob Howells, of Equipment Appraisers of San Antonio (EAofSA) which provides certified equipment appraisals for corporations and banks.  The company also provides sales services under the name of Equipment Transactions primarily in the Southern US. 

Doug is also partner of Business Brokers of San Antonio (BBofSA) which is the largest Business Brokerage in the San Antonio/Texas Hill Country area.  BBofSA assists small business owners with the confidential sale of their business and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). As part of this process, Doug often reviews financial statements, tax returns, evaluates for an opinion of most probable sales price, and assists with third party valuations in a variety of industries.   

Doug has owned several businesses in the past involved with computer  Offshore Oil Platforms, Reciprocating Aircraft Engines and Fuselages, Robotic Arms for NASA, Injection Molding, Computer Equipment, Compressors, Extruders, Medical Devices, and Turbines. Doug earned his Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas in the mid-90s when he regularly performed engineering consulting projects and still maintains the license.
